Hey folks, I am incredibly happy to report that our aluminum shipment has been delivered and is now safe and comfy at the Argyle Labs storage unit!
I was filled with anxiety all day, imagining all the different issues I might find when I opened up that first box. With so much cost and time wrapped up in this component even a simple error could have caused massive issues.
Well, no worries at all! These extrusions came out even better than I could have hoped for. All the extra time spent working with our manufacturing partner was absolutely worth it. Even the anodizing is nicer than the extrusion I was prototyping with. It is a bit more matte than the prototype, which makes it look much slicker and higher end.

Initial inspection is done and everything looks great. The profile is perfect. Next step is to verify all the different lengths and do an inventory. Ill probably be doing that on Thursday.
I'd also like to send a big mushy hug to all my real world loved ones for putting up with me during the extrusion run. There were several oh sh-t moments and I definitely started pulling my hair out a couple of times!
Ok, that's all for tonight! I was gonna write some more, but lets just enjoy this super massive happy moment and let any remaining aluminum induced anxiety melt away.
Next update will be after Wednesday at some point. Probably Thursday but maybe Friday.
Thanks again and talk soon!
