Update!
Hey folks, hope all is well! Here are the bits:
I’ve uploaded some new vector files for the enclosure’s panels. Currently just the panels for the head unit. These can be cut with a CNC, laser, or 3D printed. They are only 2D so you will need to extrude them by 3mm if you decide to print them. Files: https://github.com/MugsyOS/Design/tree/main/panels
I’ve completed assembly of the outer enclosure and will be moving on to the secondary structures, electronics, and wiring this week. Here are some current pics:
I’ve been recording assembly instruction videos while putting this demo unit together. Currently in a rough state but I will begin editing them when I can grab some extra time.
Assembly will be going pretty quick, so I am fairly confident we will be doing brew demos for next weekend’s update.
Less important note: Over the last few years, color and style options for acrylic panels have grown by a huge amount. We are no longer locked into the same limited number of colors from when we got started. I’m not planning on having every option out there, but there are few colors and styles that I think work exceedingly well for Mugsy. I’ll be adding them as options before we ship for folks who may want to swap out their current selections.
Once we are brewing from the UI and the demo unit, I’ll be able to figure out a remaining task list to share with everyone. From there we can start working towards a target completion date.
That is all for now, see everyone again next weekend!
