Update

Hey folks, hope all is well out there. Here are the bits:

  • This last week was mostly a wash work wise. Healing up has been a little more annoying/tiring than I had expected. Nothing horrible, but the gas runs out quick. Surprisingly, coding/typing was quite a bit more difficult than assembly related tasks so I focused on those items when I was able to work. I have accepted my fate and welcomed a proper split keyboard into my life and printed up some tenting blocks. WPM has suffered, but the arm is loving it.

This next week should be much better, but probably still not 100% capacity. Stitches come out on Wednesday, and my arm won’t need to be wrapped up any more.

  • Assembly-wise, I worked through some remaining items on the mug platform scale. Other than that, I continued admin based work related to inventory, shipping plans and kit packing workflow/planning.

  • Cloud Control onboarding testing should start this upcoming weekend. If not, I’m off the following Monday and will be able to flip the switch then. Theres no actual programming tasks here, the primary blocker is that I need to be able to monitor and be available once the test is opened up to provide guidance and fix issues that pop up. I will be more comfortable locking in actual times to be at my desk without getting gassed in the coming days.

  • Shipping timeline was definitely impacted by the surgery. If the next week goes as expected, I’m feeling good on having things moving into the shipping phase before the start of April.

Thats all for now, next update will be out next weekend. Thanks!
